Compliance

In MPG TRANSITOS S.A.U. we have always been concerned about compliance with the law at all levels and Corporate Social Responsibility.

En 2015 desarrollamos nuestra primera Norma Ética y posteriormente, con la reforma de la Ley Orgánica 1/2015 en la que se modificó el artículo 31 bis del CP, la empresa tomó la decisión de implantar un Programa de Compliance.

At the end of 2016, the Compliance Program evolved. The appropriate documentation was developed based on the provisions of the UNE 19600 Standard (Compliance Management Systems – Guidelines), which set the guidelines to be followed when developing the Compliance Program.

Subsequently, already in 2017, we involved Clients and Suppliers in our Compliance Program, conveying to them the company’s position of “zero tolerance” towards Fraud, Bribery and Corruption, and its commitment to compliance with all Fraud, Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery legislation applicable to our organization. It was in this year that the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management Standard appeared.

In 2018 we started with an essential task, and one that we continue to carry out every year, that of awareness and training, both internal and external, of our staff in Compliance and subsequently introducing awareness and training in Anti-bribery.

During 2019 we developed new Company Policies, reviewed and improved the documentation of the Compliance and Anti-bribery Program taking the decision to become certified in 2020 in the UNE 19601:2017 Compliance Standard and in the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-bribery Management, which we achieved after much effort.

At present, we continue with the awareness and constant training of the company’s personnel, we continue to raise awareness among Customers and Suppliers of the importance of working with transparency and putting up barriers to corruption, we invite Customers and Suppliers to adhere to the United Nations Global Compact as we did in 2019, and in short, we are moving towards a growth in global awareness regarding Compliance and Anti-bribery Management Programs in order to favor regulatory compliance and prevent criminal risks at all levels within our organization.
